Silver linings

At Hanoi airport, the return has begun.  L and I initially thought we were leaving from two different terminals.  It turned out we weren’t which gave us an extra hour or two together.

I still feel really sad though.  We’ve had a lovely two weeks chilling, hanging, laughing and giggling a lot.  Not to mention seeing North and South of Vietnam in 10 days (10 days, that is seriously mad!).

I have an 8 hour layover in Guangzhou airport with no wifi to look forward to. I have almost finished all the reading material I brought with me.

But after that, I nice overnight flight back to Amsterdam (hurrah for free wifi!) and then back to Scotland.

My house is a total bomb site, I do not look forward to returning to the mess I created in my hurry to leave.  That may also have a slight metaphorical significance too.

And also, do the clocks change this weekend?!
